Repair Microsoft Edge Browser

Windows 10

  • First, make sure you have an active internet connection. 
  • Right Click the Windows/Start button () and click Apps & Features ()
  • Once in the Apps & Features window enter “Edge” in the search bar or scroll down to Microsoft Edge:

  • Now click the Kebab menu () for Microsoft Edge and chose Modify:

  • When prompted select Yes to procced:

  • In the window that opens, click Repair to continue:

Microsoft Edge should then re-download and reinstall.


Windows 11

  • (1) Right-click the Start menu (the Windows logo on the bottom of the screen) and (2) select Installed apps:

  • In the window that opens, (1) enter “Edge” in the search bar or scroll down to Microsoft Edge, (2) click the three horizontal dots to the right of Microsoft Edge, and (3) select Modify from the menu:

 

  • When prompted select Yes to continue:

  • In the "Repair Microsoft Edge" window that opens, click Repair to begin the process:

 

  • Edge will then re-download and reinstall:
